Our platform is dedicated to equipping young individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their money wisely. From understanding the importance of saving and budgeting to exploring investment opportunities, we provide relatable content and practical resources tailored for a younger audience. Our mission is to break down financial concepts into digestible insights, empowering teens to make sound financial decisions that pave the way for their future. Through engaging articles, interactive tools, and real-life examples, we help teenagers build a solid foundation for financial independence.
Hi! My name is Ariana Bandyopadhyay, and I am the creator of Smart Savings. My goal is for teenagers to be able to plan their future and learn about finance in one simple, easy-to-digest article. The problem that many young adults are facing today is that figuring out how to manage money can be difficult, especially when you're new to the game. Around 51% of parents struggle to talk about money in a way their children will understand, and only about 25% of teens feel confident in their financial knowledge. Topics like investing, 401(k)s, and taxes can be difficult to explain, and even more difficult to understand as a teen. Additionally, 37% of males say parents gave them investment knowledge compared to only 29% of females. Being a teenager and a girl myself, I'm hoping to make whatever impact I can in improving these statistics to build a better, more financially-literate future for the youth.
